Firstly, you have never served a day in uniform so you can just shut the frick up. Secondly, when you are wearing a uniform that was phased out in 2014, it just looks bad. Even wearing the current uniform at what is considered a political rally looks bad and potentially violates 1344.10, but at least it doesn't give the appearance of fraud.
